Austral Fisheries and the TG Kailis Marine Conservation Fund, have teamed up with Murdoch University and University of Queensland to launch the most comprehensive study of Manta Rays to date. Project Manta WA will link with Project Manta QLD in order to quantify the Australian Manta Ray stocks to ultimately allow this species full protection in Australian waters. This video was taken in Coral Bay, WA, which is home to the largest population of Manta Rays on Australia’s west coast.
